About us
Ikaslan Mobility is the department responsible for managing international mobility for all the centers in the Ikaslan network, providing students and educators with opportunities for academic and professional development through international mobility programs.
Our history
Ikaslan Mobility, created in 2007, was established with the aim of promoting collaboration among educational institutions in the Basque Country and responding to the growing demand for international experiences in the field of training.
Currently, we manage mobility for 68 Vocational Education and Higher Education centers within our consortium, connecting hundreds of students and professionals each year with opportunities in Europe and other destinations.
Over the years, we have built strong partnerships with institutions in various countries, enabling us to offer a wide range of training programs that enrich our educational environment both academically and culturally.
Our commitment is clear: to promote international collaboration and support the personal and professional development of everyone who participates in our programs.
Our work
At Ikaslan Mobility, we manage international mobility within the Erasmus+ KA1 program, catering to both students and Vocational Education staff, covering Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Vocational Training levels.

Consulting and training
We also provide continuous advice and training to associated centers to ensure proper management of Erasmus+ KA1 mobilities.
In addition to managing the Erasmus program, in collaboration with AFM (Association of Machine Tool Manufacturers), we also manage the Global Training scholarships from the Basque Government, aimed at higher education graduates and designed to promote the learning and professional development of our students and staff.
